Dewey International University is situated in Battambang, the heartland of northwestern Cambodia. While delivering important higher education programs to our local community, we are also investing time and resources in developing a progressive agenda for research. As such, we established the Dewey International University Sustainable Economic Development in 2024. This Research Centre serves as a strategic means to commit, collaborate and innovate on exciting activities, that will help drive positive change into a new future of shared learning.

The Research Centre for Sustainable Economic Development is passionately committed to advancing sustainable development in Cambodia through collaborative research, innovative solutions, and strategic partnerships. Our mission is to empower communities by enhancing access to quality healthcare, education, and sustainable livelihoods, while fostering inclusive governance and environmental stewardship.

Therefore, we actively seek to partner with local and international research bodies, NGOs, and community organizations to address the unique challenges faced by Cambodian communities. Our focus spans health and education, agriculture and rural development, governance and inclusion, climate and environmental development, and innovation and digital evolution.
